I was blessed this year with the time to host a Passover Seder and really be present. It's very different when you host a seder as opposed to attending one. I found myself being much more present to the significance of it all. I was struck by the manifold parallels between the theme of the Exodus story and our lives today. There are so many examples in everyday life of people moving from bondage to freedom. That evening, as I lay in bed, I sent out a prayer to the universe for continued stregnth and courage to all people striving to get closer to the light of freedom.
